The traditional birthday dinner at the Country Club, courtesy of Barney, and the traditional surprise birthday gift from Dorothy were highlights of my August 11 birthday.My traditional present was wrapped a bit untraditionally in a sack with my name written all over it so that the sack cannot be recycled for Dorothy's traditional present.
Sept. 2, a few weeks later, Kelly and Rodney stayed all night and we got carry-out from Barbosa's to celebrate my birthday.
My birthday present from Rodney will be rewiring four yard lights for the back yard.
